Airships 06:41
Crushing airships Burning heavens Watch me trapped between the membranes Are you ready for my burial Link is broken Irritated You may call me disconnected Dancing city dying in my arms Over the aerial Dancing metropolis burial Madness is over the aerial Dancing metropolis burial Have you ever felt the first wave Have you ever heard them breathing on Trying to cross the way you go I’m still alive And besides my mask I’m broken, Yes, I’m broken, I can’t go on Have you ever heard a dying butterfly’s cry She’s the first wave Holding my arm Sends me back to the asylum Just to save me Save me from the (madness) Madness is over the aerial Dancing metropolis burial Madness is over the aerial Dancing metropolis burial

Disconnected 10:30
My little goddess was dancing on a dump Sound died away and I stayed numb I listened to her colored voice Alone I was standing by, swallowing the rain Suddenly the sounds disappeared away Seemed to be like someone’s turned Her off Why do they take her away Why do they take her away I was on my knees, gluing up my heart Noise was stunning me, tearing me apart Purified me with the rain Again Even if I pull all the curtains down Even if I turn off the screens around I won’t be able to unplug your cable Why do they take her away Why do they leave me this rain Simply they cut the weakened wires Simply we walk between the fires Everything in my sight is fading Body’s bursting from the spasm Time I die she feels orgasm You may call me disconnected Faded Faded Simply they cut the weakened wires Our connection’s closed They leave scars on your face entire They shut the doors and paint the lines But they do not know That you and I have another wire Lending from you straight to my heart Broadcasts the sense To the reservoir of your eyes Running to me straight from your skin Impulses I know They won’t find it among the wires Stay away from them Tell them who I am We'll deceive their computers Stay away from them Tell them who I am Let them be my executors Tell me what to wait for Will this thing be my cure Winter smells like August Give a dream to broadcast Please don’t leave it for me You drink death coming from me You disconnect her from me You take her away from me Everything in my sight is fading Body’s bursting from the spasm Time I die she feels orgasm You may call me disconnected Faded Standing on my knees looking at my heat will you give me this naked wire to connect the last one It turns me to the frozen sand Let it never be - this increasing pain death is just the same there is nothing but the rain the last one The only thing I have again Stay away from them Tell them who I am We'll deceive their computers

Left so alone far away A kind of a failed player Red sun’s ray turns grey No words of a prayer On and on I sacrifice myself On and on let me save myself Left so alone far away A kind of a failed player Red sun’s ray turns grey Thick is the layer Of the darkened glass Days no longer pass Through the lonely homes Sounds of running trains Softening the pains Breaking our phones Hide it inside till the noise goes on The sun lies after I’m … On and on I sacrifice myself On and on let me save myself Come on, tie up my eyes In your tears in your eyes Nothing but my sacrifice In your tears in your eyes Nothing but my sacrifice On and on I sacrifice myself…

Down to your knees I lay my head Let my tears pass through your skin I take a photo of a part of your heart With the cameras set within And as your body absorbs my tears As the nail restrains my pain So it makes me sleep it takes me down It’s connected to my vein Sometimes I feel like numb I’m feeling the sun that suffocates Sometimes I feel like numb I’m feeling the sun that suffocates The plastic animals my dreams turned to Will become perfect toys for you Set them apart leave no water and warmth Overcome their pains too Play with them Play with them Dangerous smile is on my face I’m ready to step away Triple razor’s edge dies cutting my hands Deafened fish enjoy the day Play with them Play with them Sometimes I feel like numb I’m feeling the sun that suffocates

Still alive I try to cross the way you go Sacrificed our lambs two days ago I’m so scared ‘cause I know the sign she gave Holds my arms and here comes the second wave The second wave ruins me down The second wave ruins me down A nameless place, a slaughterhouse shelters us Scratching on the windows of hospitals One more time I’ll find the sign – the sign she gave Shapeless, nameless – the second wave A nameless place- a slaughterhouse shelters us I cry out of the rooms of hospitals WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! A nameless hell, a slaughterhouse shelters us I cry out of the rooms of hospitals Dancing metropolis burial Nothing but the funeral of us all Dancing metropolis burial Nothing but the funeral of us all

about

This album is a debut release of Adaen recorded by Valentine all alone as he initially planned this to be a one man band studio project. All the instruments were recored by him and add parts were played by Alexander Perfilyev, who produced, recorded and mixed the album.
After a short break of playing in bands Valentine decided to create a solo project where he could write all the music and lyrics. The most important aim was to make an album for himself to listen to with pleasure and proud.
Inspired by Silverchair, Depeche Mode, Rush, Dream Theater and Nirvana he created Dancing Metropolis Burial but not as a mixture of influences but as his vision of the bands' atmosphere.
300 physical copies of the album were sold out in 2010. Re-releasing of CDs is awaited along with the anniversary shows.
